TAM appoints and collaborates with a number of organisations to carry out end-to-end management and operation of assets on TAM's behalf.
These organisations are responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of TAM's assets. These activities must ensure that assets are capable of fulfilling their optimum function in a safe and reliable application.

Transport for NSW is the government agency responsible for the development of a safe, efficient and integrated transport system.

NSW Trains manages the operation of NSW TrainLink, providing NSW Regional services, and InterCity services between Sydney and the Hunter, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands and Illawarra and South Coast regions.
